OnlineHost: Good evening! The WB Virtual Lot
Presents: Cybertalk! Tonight we are joined by Laura
Ceron who plays Nurse Marquez on the hit television show
"ER." She's here to discuss her recent onscreen
relationship with "Dr. Greene" (Anthony Edwards) and
take questions from all the "ER" fans. Welcome, Laura
Ceron!
LauraCeron: Thanks, it's great to be here. I'm a little
nervous since this is my first time online.
WB Online7: We're glad to have you Laura! ;-)
WB Online7: Our first question is from Baabaabee....
Question: Who do you think is the sexiest doctor on
"ER"?
LauraCeron: Well, what do you think? I mean I've
already spent one episode in bed with Anthony Edwards so
of course, I'd have to say he's pretty sexy. But all the
guys on the show are great too! They're definitely a fun
bunch to work with.
WB Online7: From Kgoto....
Question: What is it like working with the cast of ER?
What about the directors?
LauraCeron: Everyone is really great to work with. My
first episode I worked on was with Quentin Tarantino. He
had a lot to do with me getting the job, as well the
casting director and some of the producers. He was a lot
of fun. He's wild. The last episode I just finished
filming was yesterday and the director was Felix Alcala.
I love working with him because he plays music in
between takes and he's Latino.
WB Online7: From Bmur435....
Question: Do u use real blood?
LauraCeron: Yeah, my own...just kidding. No, we use
some kind of sticky syrup which is red. The prop people
are really good at coming up with effects that look
really real. At times, it grosses me out. But after
being there hours and hours, I get used to it and it's
not that bad.
WB Online7: From Meph12......
Question: What character do you play?
LauraCeron: I play Nurse Chuni Marquez. And if you've
recently watched, it was a big surprise to a lot of
people, including myself, but she gets involved with Dr.
Mark Greene. That was fun to do.
WB Online7: From Tmbirdie....
Question: How does it feel to be on Er?
LauraCeron: First of all it feels great to have a job.
Especially doing what you love to do which for me is
acting, of course. I've been very lucky to have gotten
this job so early since my move to Los Angeles. I grew
up in Chicago. I love that city. As I said before, it's
a lot of fun working on the set with all the actors and
crew. We entertain each other quite a bit.
WB Online7: Hey ER fans! If Laura doens't answer your
question by 9: 45 pm/ET, don't worry!!! She'll be
joining us on The Warner Bros. Virtual Lot at that time.

WB Online7: From Baabaalee....
Question: Do you miss Chicago?
LauraCeron: I miss Chicago very much, but I don't miss
the wind chill. The snow is fine. I also miss my family,
friends, theatre and night life. I'm actually from
Elgin...a small city 45 minutes northwest from Chicago.
Elgin's grown quite a bit, they even have a riverboat
casino. Beautiful little city.
WB Online7: From Lawgirl44.......
Question: Did you always know you wanted to act?
LauraCeron: I probably did, but didn't realize it. I
just went through life following a lot of activities
that involved performance. Such as receiting, folkloric
dancing in Mexico City because that's where I was born.
Then here in the U.S., continued with that and in junior
high school and high school I got into acting. And it
just evolved into a professional career. Thank God!
WB Online7: From CaGirl1807........
Question: Is George Clooney intimidating?
LauraCeron: George Clooney is so intimidating, I can't
even get my lines out : ) I'm glad he's on the set
when he is. He makes everybody laugh. Quite a nice guy.
And all the girls tell me he's so cute, but I can't say
because my husband's right next to me : )
WB Online7: From KelleyNy3.....
Question: Hi,,I work at Eastman Kodak, do you like the
quality film that your program is shot on??
LauraCeron: I'm not a professional camera technician,
but it looks good to me. The resolution seems very
clear. I wish I knew a little more about film quality
when it comes to TV to answer your question better. But
you've sparked curiosity, I'll ask questions to some
people who may be able to tell me more about it on the
set next week.
WB Online7: From BFisher39......
Question: How about Noah?????
LauraCeron: My husband stepped away...Noah's real cute!
Noah's a little more quiet than George, which is also
very appealing. I also enjoy working with him. Very
smart guy and very charming.
WB Online7: From Baabaabee.......
Question: What has been your most challenging role as
an actress?
LauraCeron: My most challenging role as an actress was
back in Chicago on stage at Latino Chicago Theatre
Company. The play was called "Each Day Dies With Sleep"
by Jose Rivera. I had to go from being a 5-year-old to a
grown woman. From a crazy life with 20 brothers and
sisters to California with a vain husband who wanted to
be a model. And all he cared about was his looks. THe
director pushed me to another level which I appreciated
because I felt I grew as an actress. Thank you, good
question.
WB Online7: From JLmeister.......
Question: HI!!!! This is so exciting to be talking to
you!!!! Are you regularly online, or just for tonight?
LauraCeron: This is also very exciting for me. I've
never been online. THis is my first night. I'm enjoying
this very much and I will probably buy a computer and
join you guys. Thanks!
WB Online7: From Laura Vas.......
Question: What is like being on such ahigh rated
medical drama?
LauraCeron: I don't know what it's supposed to feel
like because this is only my second TV show. The first
one was "Missing Persons" in Chicago but it only lasted
one season. But I think it's exciting to be part of a
well-written, well-directed show with a great cast.
WB Online7: Our last question is from Holy4044.....
Question: I see you were part of the Latina Chicago
Theater. Any more theater in your future?
LauraCeron: Chicago has such a great theater community.
And our theatre did a lot of original works that it's
kind of hard to find something similar in Los Angeles.
But I really haven't put too much effort in finding that
here. Latino Chicago was my family and it's going to be
hard to find that. But I feel like being on stage soon.
I miss it a lot. I have been off stage for 2 years and
it's time. So, I'm going to start putting more effort in
looking for the right theatre and/or the right play.
