Windows 95, 98, NT, ME &
2000
Choose the size of wallpaper you require. The options
are 1024x768 pixels and 800x600 pixels. Click on one of
the options and a bigger image will appear in a new
browser window. Move your mouse pointer over the big
image. Right-click your mouse and a drop-down menu will
appear. Choose the option 'Set as wallpaper'. Finally,
left-click your mouse. Your new wallpaper will appear on
your desktop.
To find out the best size wallpaper
for you, go to your desktop and right-click your mouse.
Select the 'Properties' option. A pop-up window will
appear; select 'Settings' and note the dimensions in the
section called 'Screen area'.
Windows XP (Home &
Professional edition)
Follow instructions as above but use option 'Set as
background' after right-clicking on the wallpaper image.
Mac OS 8 and above
Choose the size of wallpaper your require - if in doubt,
select the largest picture and your Mac will adjust the
size of the image to fit your desktop. Click on the link
to the wallpaper you have chosen and hold down the mouse
button. Select the 'Download Link to Disk' option if
using Internet Explorer. If using Netscape, choose the
'Save Link as' option. This will download the wallpaper
to your hard disk. Then, click on the Apple icon and
choose the 'Appearance' option from the 'Control Panels'
menu. Choose the 'Desktop' option, click on 'Place
Picture' and choose the image you download from the
website. Click the 'Set Desktop' button.
