Abby and Luka are in their home and Abby tries to speak with Luka.  He is looking through the paper.  They discuss that he has an interview today and he agrees.  She then asks him if he is looking for apartments?  She is worried and upset and wants to know what she can do to make things better between them?  "Did you think that you coming to Croatia and apologizing was all it would take?", he asks her.  Luka gets up and tells her that they are not going to argue about it now and walks away.

Dr. Dubenko walks up to Dr. Wexler and invites her away for the weekend, but she tells him that she has already made other plans.  Seems like they have not been working or playing together for some time due to their shift differences.  Tony has brought in some doughnuts for the ER staff.  Sam is upset that he is being too obvious about them dating.  She does not want everyone to know.  Abby walks up to the ambulance bay on her way in to work.  Pratt asks her how Croatia was and wants to know if she actually went this time?  The ambulance pulls up and the two paramedics wheel a guy out that is covered in chemicals from and underground tanker leak.  The patient is covered from head to toe.  Abby tells them that they need to get soaked down.  One of the paramedics collapses.  Pratt tells a bystander to put his cigarette out and the guy tosses is and causes the patient to be consumed by fire.

Neela is with her patient Sheryl Hawkins and they are discussing Neela's love life and internet dating.  She can't find a normal person.  Sheryl takes a picture of Neela to post online.  "I want a tall, dark, symphony conductor who is fluent in Italian , with abs of steel.", she tells her.  Dr. Dubenko tells Neela that Sheryl's graft is infected.  She will need surgery again.

Dr. Dubenko goes down to the ER for a consult on the paramedic who fell and received burns.  Abby, Gates, and Pratt are working on him.  Dawn comes in and says that they need help running the board and Pratt tells her that Dr. Brenner is not busy.  Dubenko looks over and sees that he is flirting with Dr. Wexlar in the other exam room.  Abby does not know who he is and Gates tells her that he is the new attending who thinks he is God's gift to medicine.  Abby and Pratt leave to work together and Dr. Dubenko tells Gates to have Mr. Sacar admitted to the burn unit.  He wants to keep an eye on the paramedic's airway.

Pratt tells Abby that he was surprised that Luka quit.  He wants to know why she postponed her interview with Anspaugh.  There are fourteen candidates interviewing for the Attending spot.  Pratt tells her that it will be gone and she will find herself out of a job in three months.  Sam and Laverne wheel in Kwan Lee, a nineteen -year-old man who was jumped on the El.  He looks badly beaten.  Abby goes to assist.  He tells them that he tried to run away, but they got him.  His family is still in Seoul Korea.  He tells them that he want to go back to Korea, "Chicago isn't working out."

Morris and Brenner are discussing the "hot" woman that Brenner is interested in.  Morris tries to get him to tell who she is and only finds out that she probably works at County General.  Dr. Dubenko listens in and probably assumes that it is Dr. Wexlar.  Dr. Wexlar walks up and Dubenko invites her to lunch at 2:00 in his office.  She tells him that she will try to make it.

Paramedic Olbes wheels in Missy Voltaire, a woman who was in a car accident and is 8 months pregnant.  Morris asks her if this is her first pregnancy and she nonchalantly says, "No.  It's our thirteenth".  Abby tells her patient, Kwan Lee, that his arm is broken.  He is upset because he has a critique in a week at the Art Institute where he attends.  He is a Freshman and he studies animation.  Abby shows Laverne how to clear a c-spine on him and Dr. Brenner walks up.  They notice what appears to be a node or a cyst on the back of his neck.  Haleh comes to get Abby to assist Morris.  Brenner goes with her.  She tells him that she has got it, but he replies, "Cam over to meet the famous Abby Lockhart."  They go in to assist Morris with Missy who is naming off all thirteen of her children who all have names that start with the letter "D".  Abby does the ultrasound and sees a very active baby.  Dr. Coburn walks in for the consult.  She finds out about the number of kids she has and is very surprised.

Luka is at a job interview at a elderly care residential center.  The interviewer seems curious as to why Luka would want to work there.  Luka tells him that his father past away a little while earlier and that he took care of him and was with him when he tied.  The man gets called away and tells Luka to take a look around.  Luka walks into a room full of patients and an older gentleman named Walter Perkins tells him to come and sit down and play cards with him.  He asks if Luka is there visiting family.  Luka tells him that he is there for a job interview.  He is trying to make some changes in his life.

Abby and Coburn go for a walk and Abby tells her about her concerns about her and Luka's marriage.  She tells her that he is planning things without her.  Coburn tells her that Luka gets to make the next move and she must wait.

Brenner asks Wexlar if she always uses propofol on the patients when she wants to pop a bone back into the socket?  She tells him how good it is.  It causes the patient to forget about the incident right before the medicine is given.  That way, they do not remember the pain.  Neela and Dubenko or also in the room.  Dubenko is having a hard time getting the shoulder back in to place.  Brenner tells him to let Skye give it a try.  She is able to get it right in.  Neela tells Skye what a charmer Brenner is and she agrees.  The patient wakes up and does not remember anything that had just happened.

Abby and Neela check out the cyst on the back of Kwan's neck.  Kwan is telling how his mom and dad gave up a lot for him to come to America.  He does not think that they are prod of him.  They wanted him to do better things with his life and Neela seems to understand.  Her parents are much the same.  They tell him that they are going to run a test on the cyst and he is concerned.  He would rather wait until he got back to Korea, but they tell him that it would be best to go ahead and do the procedure now.

Gates and Sam seem to be having issues with each other.  Dr. Anspaugh comes looking for Dr. Brenner.  Pratt tells him pretty much that he does not like him and then finds out that Brenner is Dr. Anspaugh's nephew.  He invites his nephew for lunch, so that he can introduce him to some other physicians.  Missy's husband comes in with all of their kids and Brenner impresses his "Uncle Donnie" by knowing one of the children's name.  He takes them to see their mother and tells Sam to get some videos for the kids to watch in the waiting area.

Neela and Abby are walking down the hall and she asks Abby what time her interview is.  Abby tells her that she has postponed it.  She is a little off due to the time change from being in Croatia.  Neela tells her that she is glad to have her back.  Abby sees Sam and asks if she thinks they could talk later?  Sam tells her that she is busy and that it is not a good day for her.  "If it is one of those "amends" conversations, I'd rather not", she tells her.

Luka and Walter Perkins are still playing cards.  Walter is speaking about his cancer.  He spent time in France in the service right after "D"-day.  He went to find a girl there he met, but never found her.  Now he is stuck in this place.  Luka tells him that he had just made his first trip back home to Croatia in almost ten years.  He had not returned because of a difficult time right before he had left.  He was determined to forget everything.

Sam and Neela are still working on Kwan Lee.  Dr. Brenner calls the room and Sam puts him on speaker phone.  He tells them that he just got a lab report on the Korean kid, Kwan Lee, and Sam tells him that he is on speaker phone, but he keeps talking.  He tells them that the kid's got cancer.  Looks very aggressive.  Sam runs to hang the phone up, but Kwan already heard everything.  He gets very agitated and upset and continues to say that he don't have cancer.  Neela walks out and grabs a syringe and comes back in and injects it into Kwan's IV.  Abby walks in to see what is going on and asks Neela what it was that she just gave him?  Neela tells her that it was propofol.

Neela tries to explain her reasons for giving Kwan the drug to erase his recent memory.  Abby and Sam are both upset about it.  Abby and Neela go out to the hall to discuss it further.  Neela tells her that she wants to tell him about the cancer in time and that he should not have to of heard it over a speaker phone.  Abby tells her that he is her patient and she will deal with it.  Sam goes to get him some food.  Abby asks him if there is anybody in Chicago that can pick him up and he tells her that his R.A. might come to get him  He tells her Thank you.

Luka and Walter are still talking and playing cards.  He tells Walter that he came to County General to dive into work and forget about his past.  He decided to go home because his father got sick.  He wanted to bring him back to Chicago, but his father did not want to leave.  He wanted to die at home around the people he loved.  Luka felt angry and betrayed, but he eventually let go of it.  Walter tells him that he decided he couldn't fix things and decided that this place was the place for him.  Luka agrees.

Dubenko is still trying to convince Skye to go away with him to "Little France", but she really wants to do the dive.  Dubenko invites himself to go with her and she tells him that she will see if there is more room.  Pratt comes down the hallway and tells Morris that he has had it with Brenner.  Morris thinks that he is actually Anspaugh's love child and the story is just a cover up.  Pratt tells Morris that he thinks he has a man crush on Brenner and Morris denies it.  Morris asks about Bettina and learns that they broke up.  Morris tell him that girls like flowers and cupcakes.  Send her cupcakes he tells him.

Sam is struggling to reach something and asks Gates to help her.  He tells her that he doesn't want people to think that they are dating.  He is being facetious.  He doesn't know how to act around her.  He tells her to stop being so nutty.  Morris yells out that he needs her.  Missy has gone into labor and is having contractions.  Abby sees an arm coming out.  They attempt to take her up to the OR, but end up having to go back to the exam room to deliver.  Brenner, Sam and Morris do not think that it is a good idea, but Abby insists.

Abby continues to work with Missy and gets the room in order and tells everyone what they need to do.  Coburn walks in and Abby delivers the baby.  Coburn tells her that she did a nice job.  Brenner walks out of the room and Neela gets on to him for what he did over the speaker phone.  He tries to apologize, but Neela is not happy with it.

Skye tells Dubenko that she doesn't think he would have fun waiting on the boat and shouldn't come.  They walk into the lounge and Dubenko tells her off.  He tells her that he has tried to be cool and understands that she has a lot of guy friends.  He agrees and tells her that she has a need for male affection.  She is offended by what he says and hands him a gift that she was going to give him to keep him company while on her dive.

Sam runs in to Abby in the ambulance bay.  She tries to apologize, but Abby interrupts.  Sam tells her that all she wanted to say was good job.  She knows that she has been judgmental, but she grew up around people with big problems and it is hard.  Abby tells her that she is hoping that she will not end up like that.

Abby goes up and speaks with Anspaugh.  He takes the time to interview her on the spot.

Neela walks in and tells Sheila the news.  She tells her that there is an infection around the aortic graft and that she will need surgery.  Neela is really upset about it and Sheila tells her that it is because they have become friends.  Neela continues to cry.  "I'm going to be just fine.", she tells Neela.

Morris looks into the room where Missy and all of her children are.  Dubenko opens the gift that Skye gave him and it is a Barbie doll in scuba gear.  He puts it into his aquarium.  Gates puts his things away and finds a note in his locker to meet someone on the roof.  Pratt goes to see Bettina, but decides not to go in.  Looks like he has brought cupcakes.  Gates goes to the roof to find Sam all dressed up with a candle lit dinner prepared.  They kiss.  Abby tells Kwan about his cancer.  Luka walks in at home and tells Abby that he took the job.  He tells her that he has to move out.
