Pratt passes off his charts to Abby before he leaves to go to the charity bachelor auction. Abby Morris wonder where Dr. Clemente is because he has missed 4 shifts in a row. Victor and Jodie are sitting in Victors apartment doing a crossword puzzle. There are girls bidding to dine with Pratt, one woman bids 490 dollars before a guy bids 600 and the smile on Pratt’s face fades. Morris and Dr. Jessica Albright argue about surgical patients that are being kept in the ER. Kerry is covering and she tells Luka to page her if there is anything serious because her hip is bothering her and she needs to stay off her feet as much as possible.

Jerry has a post card from Carter. Morris and Jessica continue to argue. Pratt comes back into the ER he says that the only problem was that the winning bid was a guy. Dexter Jenkins gets wheeled into the ER, he had gotten beaten up by some kids.

Victor is shopping with Jodie. Abby is nervous about her test results because she wants to have a normal baby, she calls in and finds out that the baby is perfectly normal and healthy. Victor goes home and they discover that Bobby, Jodie’s husband is there. Jodie is scared and Bobby wants her to leave with him. She tells him that she filed for a divorce and Bobby gets upset because he flew from New Jersey to get her but Jodie simply tells him that its too late. Victor finally gets Bobby to leave and he calms Jodie down a little but Bobby comes back in and shoots them both. Pratt asks for a scrub top because he spilled bedadine on his shirt but they say that a scrub top isn’t good enough for a "man date".  Victor drives to the ER with Jodie, Abby and Luka were talking about if they should tell anyone about Abby’s pregnancy when Victor pulls up. Once she’s inside Luka Sam Abby and Ray begin working on her.

Ray is talking to Jenkins about music and he tells Ray about the piano he found that the kids destroyed that day.

Victor keeps thinking that he has to do something, Luka tells him to go away when Jodie says "he shot me". Everyone assumes she meant Victor shot her but Victor quickly adds that her ex-husband had done it. Pratt comes in and calms Victor down and brings him into the other room to clean up his gun shot wound. Kerry comes in and tells Luka that he should have paged her. Dubenko and Neela get paged down to the ER, Dubenko works on Jodie and Neela goes to see how Victor is doing. No one can calm Victor down and he keeps fighting to get up and go try to help with Jodie but Kerry puts restraints on him. Jodie is in the OR, Dubenko is questioning Neela as to what should be done first. Jessica comes in and answers Dubenko’s question. Morris comes into the OR to get Jessica to re-write some orders, she argues but Dubenko tells her to scrub out. Meanwhile the staff try’s to decide if Victor shot Jodie or not. Victor goes into the OR and keeps telling them what they should and shouldn’t do, Dubenko sends him outside to watch but he keeps talking.

Morris tells Jessica to change more of her orders while Abby watches them argue. Haleh and Abby talk about how Jessica refuses to learn anyone’s name because of Morris driving her crazy. Morris asks Abby why she is still there and she says she’s hungry and her fridge at home is empty. Morris tells her that he thought he saw her eating an ice-cream 20 minutes ago and she says that its her third. He comments on how she’s eating like she’s pregnant, she brushes the comment off but he figures it out. She tells him that he loves Jessica and they both decide to drop the conversation and forget about it.

Ray brings in the black guys daughter Sarah, she offers him a room in her house but he doesn't want to take it. Neela is still working on Jodie when Pratt joins Victor, Jodie’s drug test came back and Pratt asks Victor if there is anyone who can back him up but only Jodie can back him up.

Luka gives Alex a hockey puck and goes to tell Sam that he is here. Pratt’s date arrives and the staff is wondering why it’s a woman instead of a man but Pratt just pretends that it was all a joke. Jessica gets mad at Neela for "crowding her out of the OR" and walks away. Victor comes up and thanks Neela before he goes to sit by Jodie. Luka follows Sam to the drug lockup. He tells her about him and Abby and that Abby is going to have a baby. Sam congratulates him but seems upset by the news after he leaves. Victor is talking about the quintessence of dust to Jodie even though she is asleep. Kerry comes in and tells him that they were able to salvage her kidney and that the police want to talk to him. They haven’t found a gun in his apartment yet and he still has his job.

Pratt is with Debbie and we find out that Henry her ex-boyfriend bought her the date. Ray talks the black guy into letting Ray buy him something to eat, in the store he sees a piano, he sits down begins to play and sing ‘Many Rivers to Cross’. Abby calls her mom with good news, Victor talks to the police, Sam leaves with Alex, Luka reads Carters post card, and Carter is shown flying around Africa in a helicopter.
