Kerry and her attorney talk about how
they will proceed in the custody hearing. Carter goes to the airport to
pickup Kim. Neela is impressing the lab members. Abby’s therapy group
reconvenes for another meeting. When a patient isn’t there during role call,
Abby asks what happened to him. The other members say he killed himself.
They all say that everybody loves her sessions; everybody except the dead guy.
Monday – Kerry is packing a suitcase and is on the
phone with a travel agency when Elizabeth drops by with Ella’s old baby
clothes. Elizabeth becomes worried when she sees the suitcase and tells Kerry
not to do anything she might regret. Abby admits a psychic patient. Mrs. Dunn
returns with another factious seizure. Abby tries to get Mr. Dunn to admit his
wife. Elizabeth asks Abby to talk to Kerry about Henry. Kim and Carter come
home. Kerry comes into work and waits with Henry in the lounge. Abby assures
Kerry that Henry is going to end up with her. Abby convinces Jordan Dunn to
admit herself to Psych. Mrs. Lopez and her attorney come to pick up Henry.
When Abby can’t find Dr. Weaver, Mrs. Lopez and her attorney become
confrontational. Abby finds Kerry out in the ambulance bay with Henry. Mrs.
Lopez takes Henry away with her attorney.
Wednesday – Kim asks John if they are ready to have a
baby. John tells her that they are. A social worker comes to talk to Jordan.
Carter brings Kim to his board meeting with Gamma’s Foundation. Kim meets
Carter’s father. Carter turns Gamma’s house into a conference center for
Northwestern. Carter’s father is angry with Carter and expresses his hope for
them to get married. Francis, the Dunn’s neighbor, brings their daughter by the
Psych ward. Jordan goes into seizure while holding the baby.
Friday – Neela and Pratt treat a burger flipper named
Elgin Gibbs with burnt hands. He is young and his blood pressure is extremely
high. Pratt asks him if he is doing any drugs and he denies it. Neela runs up
to the lab to check on a project. Kovac runs into Sam as he is leaving. Yuri
and Colin are doing an illegal study on humans with Ketamine, a hallucinogenic
drug. Yuri is high on Ketamine and Colin is recording data. Neela tells them
that it is illegal and that it is stupid. Abby and Jordan talk about her past.
Abby tells her how she has never been able to follow through in her life; in med
school, in relationships, and with her family. In return, Jordan tells Abby
about a previous son, Charlie, who died eight years before. Yuri goes into
SVT. Neela takes Yuri to the ER. Pratt and Neela bring Yuri back to normal
sinus. Elgin Gibbs’ tox screen is negative. His BP is still high. Elgin helps
his mother support his brothers.
Monday
– Abby asks Jordan to talk about Charlie. Abby wants to use Amatol to open up
Jordan’s subconscious. Yuri is dressed down by his supervisor. Abby and Jordan
start the Amatol therapy. Jordan tells Abby about how her previous boyfriend
used to hit her and mistreat Charlie. She also says that one day the baby
wouldn’t be quiet and she hugged Charlie so tight that he suffocated. Jordan is
worried that she is going to hurt Carolyn. Elizabeth calls Kerry at home to
offer her support. Kerry sits on her couch and listens to Elizabeth record the
message on her message machine. Because Jordan says she accidentally killed
Charlie, the social worker has to follow up on the death. The Psych resident
tells Abby that she is a good physician. He wants to help her study for her
boards. She says it’s too late because she is going to take them at the
moment. Abby signs in at the boards test center and begins her test.

DR. WEAVER MAY LOSE BABY WHILE DR. CARTER MAKES WAVES IN
FAMILY FORTUNE; THANDIE NEWTON RETURNS TO GUEST-STAR -- A panic-stricken Dr.
Weaver (Laura Innes) faces a life-defining moment when she is ordered to give up
her son to the Lopez family while Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) greets a returning Kem
(guest star Thandie Newton, "Mission: Impossible 2") -- but their meeting with
his father (guest star Michael Gross, "Family Ties") is tense after Carter
anounces plans for his grandmother's estate. Elsewhere, Abby (Maura Tierney) is
in the midst of her psychiatric rotation and tries to help a seizure-prone
mother (as Jordan, guest star TBA) with a controversial drug treatment.
Meanwhile, Neela (Parminder Nagra) impresses everyone with her lab research,
especially when she helps one of the reckless students (as Yuri, guest star TBA)
after he experiments on himself. In addition, Dr. Kovac's (Goran Visnjic)
relationship with Sam (Linda Cardellini) and her son Alex (guest star TBA) grows
awkward when Alex' father returns. Alex Kingston, Ming-Na and Mekhi Phifer also
star.
