Peter is up at 6 AM and he wakes Cleo up.  He is wanting to "fool around" before going in to work.  Mark and Elizabeth are lying in bed and Mark is feeling the baby move.  Elizabeth tells him that she thinks about the movie Alien and how the baby alien busted out of the man's belly.  Mark has chosen two names for the baby.  Amanda if it is a girl and Matthew if it is a boy.  Mark is going for his last visit to his radiation therapy before going in for his shift.  Kerry wakes up in Kim's bed.  Kim tells her that she should bring a few of her things over and that she can make some room in her closet for some clothes.  Kim kisses the palm of her hand and then Kerry watches as Kim blow dries her hair.  Abby has spent the night at Luka's and they have just finished making love.  She wants to know what he is thinking about and he replies that he is thinking about the bishop.  She jokes about him thinking about the bishop while they are making love.  She tells him that she notices how he watches her when they make love.  He tells her that she is beautiful.  Abby asks him what his wife's name was and he tells her.  He tells her that he loved her very much.  Abby tells him that it makes her glad to know that.  Later that morning, a four year old boy named Zach is brought in by ambulance.  His pre-school teacher is with him.  Jing-Mei has returned to work and she will take care of the boy.  Abby will assist her.  Bishop Stewart is back in the ER.  Abby tells Jing-Mei that they should do a spinal tap to rule out meningitis, but Jing-Mei wants to wait and do some other tests first.  Romano goes to Peter's new make shift office to check on how he is doing.  He has a young man there that he wants Peter to speak to and then get rid of.  It is William White and he is a young African-American male that wants to get an interview.  Jing-Mei speaks to Carter about her young patient.  She tells him that the school does not have any parental consent form signed and that she wants to do a spinal tap on him.  Luka checks on bishop Stewart.  He asks him if he has called his own physician before coming in to the ER and he hasn't.  The bishop tells him that he prefers his care.  Carter goes in to help out with Zach.  Carter watches as Jing-Mei does the spinal tap.  They notice a rash on the boy and Carter thinks that he may have measles.  Zach's mother shows up and Carter learns that he has not had any immunizations.  Jing-Mei tells her that one in every five hundred kids die from the measles.  She tells the teacher that came in with Zach to call the school and to make sure that none of the students leave until they have been checked out.  Mark comes in for his shift after is radiation therapy is over.  Elizabeth sees him and kisses him.  She is happy that it his therapy is over.  Malucci asks Mark if he got to keep the tumor.  Mark tells him that he did not.  Dr. Robert Wilson from the medical licensing board walks up to Mark and tells him that he would like to speak with him.  He is there to evaluate his competency to practice medicine.  Cleo speaks with Carter and Jing-Mei about the young boy's condition.  Carter tells her that the boy went with his mother to Europe and probably got the measles there.  They want to isolate him to keep him from contaminating the whole ER.  Carter speaks with the Zach's mother.  She has not had any of her kid's immunized.  Carter and her get into a debate over it, but they are interrupted when Zach's vitals drop.  Carter goes in to help out with him, but he has to ask Jing-Mei to step back.  Carter intubates him.  The bishop is having trouble breathing, but he wants to leave the ER.  He has to perform an ordination, but Luka tells him that he needs to be admitted to the ICU.  The bishop gets dressed and leaves anyways.  Kerry walks up on Kim and a friend of Kim's named Kristy laughing and cutting up.  Kim introduces Kerry to her.  Kim tells Kerry that Kristy and her girlfriend want to get together with them for dinner, but Kerry tells her that she has to work late.  Kim tells Kerry that she has already checked Kerry's schedule and that she doesn't have to work late.  Kerry was just trying to get out of it, but now she will have to go.  Malucci walks up during their conversation and he asks Kerry if that woman was Kim's girlfriend.  He tells Kerry that he heard she was a lesbian, but Kerry acts like she knows nothing about her sexual preference.  Mark sees Kerry and he lets her know that he isn't happy about calling in on him about his competency to treat patients.  She tells him that she had to do it because she is concerned for the patient's and him.  Luka watches from a hospital window as bishop Stewart leaves.  A fifty year old man with Hodgkin's is brought in by ambulance.  Cleo learns that it was the same ambulance that brought in Zach with measles.  She tells Carter that the rich people only worry about immunizing the poor kids, but don't immunize their own.  Peter goes to the Student Affairs department of the hospital to review the application of William White.  He also pulls a few extra files while he is there.  Abby finds Luka standing out in the snow.  Abby tells him that he should go after the bishop and bring him back.  Cleo goes to see Peter at his new office.  She has brought him lunch from the vending machines.  His office is directly behind the hospital cafeteria.  Peter tells her that he pulled his own file and that he found out that he did not do well.  He was only hired because of Affirmative Action.  He should have never gotten in.  She reassures him that he is a good doctor and surgeon.  He tells her that William White's scores were better than his and he should be given a chance.  Luka ends up at the bishop's church with his medical bag in hand.  When he walks in to the bishop's office,  he sees that he is having a hard time breathing.  Luka tells him that he needs to go back to the hospital with him and that he is dieing.  Bishop Stewart tells Luka about the day he decided he wanted to become a priest.  It was a sleepless night and he went for a walk in the woods behind his father's house.  It was snowing and he became lost and didn't know which way to go.  He looked up and it came to him.  The still snowflakes were so perfect.  He became filled with the Lord Jesus Christ like wine filling a glass.  The bishop is worried that he hasn't accomplished all that God has wanted him to.  He is afraid of dieing.  Bishop Stewart begins reciting the 23rd Psalm.  Luka helps him to the ordination ceremony.  Luka watched on has he performs the ceremony.  Peter, Romano and Dr. Colburn go over applications for admission.  Elizabeth finds Kerry and chews her out really good about having Mark checked up on.  She tells Kerry that she hopes she ends up with a fatal illness someday so that she can do absolutely nothing to help her.  After the doctor's finish going over candidates for the medical program, Peter mentions that he has one more that they should consider, William White.  Romano doesn't agree, but Peter insists.  Carter sees that an x-ray film needs to be taken upstairs to where Zach is.  When he arrives he sees the doctor's working on him; he has died.  As Luka listens on to the ceremony, he has flashbacks of being at the cemetery where his family is buried.  Kerry and Kim are at dinner with Kristy and her date.  It is mentioned that Kim has slept with everyone at the table and Kerry dismisses herself.  She is ready to go on home.  Kim runs out after her to see if she is upset.  She tells her that she is uncomfortable and that she does not belong there.  She tells Kim that she cares about her, but she isn't ready to adopt the lifestyle.  At the ceremony, bishop Stewart collapses.  Luka tells them to call 911 and then he begins to work on him.  Elizabeth goes home to find Mark sitting in the dark.  He tells her that he has to undergo a lot of tests to prove he is competent to continue practicing medicine.  Abby finds Luka outside of the hospital.  She asks about the bishop and he mentions the forest.
