Mark
is up at 5:30 AM playing Tetris on the
computer. Elizabeth wakes up and wants
to know if he is up so early because his
father is arriving today. He is coming
for Thanksgiving. Haleh wakes Peter up
to tell him that a choir bus from Louisville
got hit by a semi-truck and the passengers are
being brought in. Carter is giving
orders in the ER for the day. Carol is
helping out at the front desk, since she is
too big and the babies are due. Luka is
back at work. Lucy helps with a young
man that is brought in by his mother.
She wants him tested for drugs, but Lucy
thinks that it is the boy's choice. Cleo
oversteps her boundaries and takes over care
of this patient. Lucy is upset about it.
Elizabeth goes to the scene of a traffic pile
up. Detective Cruson from Violent Crimes
is at the scene. Elizabeth has to help a
man, Dean Rollins, who had carjacked a woman
and left her somewhere. Elizabeth
threatens to let him die if he does not tell
the officers where the woman is. He
tells them that she is in Lincoln Park.
Meg's prison nurse comes to see Carol.
Meg has requested for Carol to come see her.
The lady that was left in Lincoln Park by Dean
Rollins has been found. She has been
stabbed multiple times and has been raped.
Carter donates blood for the woman since the
blood supply is low. Her husband comes
to the ER and watched his wife die.
Carol gets sent home due to the fact that her
blood pressure has dropped and she needs bed
rest. Marks dad is missing and has never
showed up at the airport. Lucy tends to
the choir director who has health problems,
but he wants to go to a concert that he and
the choir need to attend. The man leaves
without Lucy's approval. Cleo's teenage
patient was not doing drugs, but he is a heavy
drinker and she tells his mother that he is an
alcoholic. The mother is an alcoholic
also and does not think that it is bad.
Dr. Lawrence goes through some memory testing
and gets very aggravated. His son is
coming after him and he will be staying with
him. Elizabeth gets in trouble for
telling Dean Rollins that she will let him die
unless he tells her where the girl was.
Carol goes to see Meg. Meg wants Carol
to talk to Social Services about letting her
keep her baby in jail. They won't let
her and Carol just wants to get out of the
room with her. Before Dr. Lawrence
leaves the ER, he gets to help Carter out with
a patient. David Greene finally shows
up. His flight was overbooked, so he
took standby and made some money. Kerry
asks Dr. Kovach to work in the ER. Dr.
Lawrence is leaving so there is a position
available. He accepts without even
knowing how much money he will be making.
