NBC Review
SWOOSIE KURTZ GUEST-STARS --
The arrival of Dr. Max Rosher (guest star James
LeGros) to do a feasibility study on a pediatric
unit in the ER has a direct effect on Dr. Carter
(Noah Wyle) and Dr. Del Amico (Maria Bello). Dr.
Ross' (George Clooney) unorthodox treatment of a
drug-addicted infant causes a rift with Dr.
Greene (Anthony Edwards). Dr. Benton's (Eriq La
Salle) efforts to defend Dr. Corday (Alex
Kingston) only complicate her professional
relationship with Dr. Romano (guest star Paul
McCrane). Del Amico is troubled when a famous
televangelist (guest star Swoosie Kurtz, NBC's
'Sisters') uses her illness for gain.
Overwhelmed by personal problems, Jeanie (Gloria
Reuben) turns to Dr. Weaver (Laura Innes) for
support. Julianna Margulies also stars.
