Susan
is having a very hard time getting over little
Suzy being gone. During the entire
episode we hear her talking to someone, (a
therapist?), about it. Kerry and
Mark discuss Susan's candidacy for Chief
Resident. Kerry wants Mark to support
her to become an attending physician.
If he does then she will support Susan.
We find out from Lydia that her and Al are
engaged. Loretta Sweet and her two kids
are brought in to the E.R. She is having
pains. Al and Lydia help look after the
kids. The kids take the video camera
from Iris, who is in because of a cat allergy,
and they video tape people around the E.R.
Karen tells Doug that his father went to
Mexico with money that belongs to the hotel.
Doug feels bad about it, so he goes to his
mother to borrow $25,000.00. He feels
bad because Ray gave him the money before he
left. Karen tells him not to feel bad,
his dad had taken $250,000.00. Carol has
to go to an investigative interview about Shep
and the case where Shep shoved the guy into a
table. Carol seems to be covering for
him even though Reilly knows better. The
case is then dropped, but Carol seems to feel
bad about it afterwards. Al Boulet shows
up in the E.R. because he can't seem to get
rid of the flu. Kerry Weaver takes care
of him and runs some blood tests. He is
Jeanie's husband that she is separated from.
She finds out that he is there and checks his
chart. She calls upstairs so that she
can get the results of the blood tests.
He has A.I.D.S. Jeanie has to tell him.
Carter takes care of a young girl who needs a
liver transplant. She is disappointed
because she is going to miss her basketball
