Benton goes in to work early only to find that his surgery has been canceled.  Susan gets an early morning surprise visit from a social worker to interview her for the adoption of baby Suzy.  Jerry tells everyone that Scottie Pippen came in to the ER over night, but nobody saw him but Jerry.  No one believes him.  Today is Nurse Conni Oligario's last day before she leaves on maternity leave.  Carter is nervous about his interview for internship at the hospital.  Harper makes him even more nervous by telling him that she didn't get her period this month.  Eight labored mothers are brought into the ER after the OBGYN sprinkler system goes off, one of whom is an attending physician in the hospital.  Mark helps deliver a breach baby and Dr. Janet Colburn is impressed.  Benton performs surgery on a man who threw himself in front of a train.  It becomes a big show and everybody is there to watch it.  Harper does a pregnancy test and finds out that she is NOT pregnant.  Scottie Pippen comes in to thank Jerry for his help the night before, but still no one sees him.  Carter gets great reviews at his interview.  He finds out that Peter was "tantamount to gushing" through Dr Hicks.  Carter is surprised and he thanks Benton.  Doug goes to see his dad at the Hotel Dupree to give him back the basketball tickets he had given him for his birthday. He is told that he can find Mr. Ross in the bar and Doug replies as usual.  He is told that Mr. Ross owns the hotel.  They end up talking and playing pool.  The staff surprise Conni at Doc Magoo's with a baby shower.
