Carol is doing her paramedic ride along with
Ray "Shep" Shepard and Raul
Melendez. Two people have been shot and
one of them is dead on the scene. Today
is the new Chief Resident Kerry Weaver's first
day. Susan and Carol don't like her.
Peter and Jeanie are still sneaking around and
having a hard time trying to find time
together. Chloe drops off little Suzy for daycare. She leaves her with Susan
because she is running late for class.
Susan later finds out that she has been
skipping classes and has dropped out.
Loretta is back in the ER again today.
She has a lot of occupational hazards to deal
with being a prostitute.
Doug Ross has a little boy that he is tending
to that burns things for attention. When
he turns his back on him to speak with Kerry,
he sets the room on fire. Peter is on
his way to his car and see Jeanie in front of
her car with the hood up. He starts
talking to her and her husband Al pokes his
head up. He didn't know that he was
standing there. They shake hands and
they carry on a conversation. Al doesn't
suspect anything. Peter later tells her
that she is going to have to tell him about
what is going on. Conni sees Susan and
little Suzy in the lounge. She asks her
how she is doing and knows how hard it is.
Conni tells her that she is going to have a
baby.

FIRE! - Ross treats a young
pyromaniac for burns then leaves him to await a
psych consult; however, once alone, the boy
promptly starts a fire in the ER. Lewis contends
with her live-in sister, who quit computer
school. Carter and Harper grow closer; while
Benton asks Jeanie to leave her estranged
husband. (Michael Beach).
