Mark has been staying with Jen and Rachel for a week.  A cab driver comes in and Carter and Susan take care of him.  He runs a dating service on the side.  They go through his book and that see Dr. Div Cvetic's picture with a woman in there( so that's where he has been).  Susan walks out.  Carter still hasn't made is mind up between the ER sub-internship or surgery.  Dr. Swift lets the cat out of the bag in front of Benton.  Peter tells him that he can write his own evaluation and then bring it back to him for him to sign.  Dr. Swift tells Mark that Morganstern had told him that he was the most impressive resident he had ever worked with, but Swift can't see it.  Carter comes from a very wealthy family.  His father is worth 178 million dollars.  The others seem a little resentive of him because Susan owes $85,000 in medical student loans, Mark owes $110,000 and Haleh tells us that Peter is three months behind on his loan payments.  Susan gets to read Carter's evaluation of himself and she tells him that it seems like he is describing a train conductor.  He gives it to Benton and he signs it without ever even reading it.  Carter wants to know what he wants from him, and Benton wants to know why he's applying for the ER sub-I if he wants to be a surgeon.  Carter turns around and tears up the evaluation.  Doug coaches first base in Jake's came.  When Jake hits the ball he runs all the bases for a homerun, but he misses touching first base.  Doug lies and cheats by telling everyone that he did.  Jake knows better and feels bad about it.  Doug later tells him that he did what his old man would have done and apologizes.  He is not use to being a dad.  They both agree not to tell Jake's mom.  They later meet with Diane to get something to eat and they both tell each other that they love each other.  Tag writes his marriage vows and he lets Carol hear them.  She tells him that she feels the same way.  Walt tells Peter that he has got him all figured out.  He knows that there is something stirring between him and Jeanie.  Susan comes home and finds out that Chloe has been smoking even after she has warned her that the baby could have a low birth weight.  She tells her that she can't continue keeping her there and that she is going to have to move out.  Chloe doesn't know where she can go.  Mark and Jen seem to be figuring things out.

NBC Review

WEDDING PLANS -- As their wedding day rapidly approaches, Hathaway (Juliana Margulies) and Taglieri (Rick Rossovich) argue over the details and Carol puts off writing her vows. Greene moves to Milwaukee in an attempt to save his marriage, and his deteriorating performance in the ER hires Dr. Swift (Michael Ironside). Benton agrees to recommend Carter for a surgical sub-internship, although he and other ER coworkers are surprised to learn of Carter's wealthy background. Bento is also surprised by his growing attraction to Jeanie Boulet (Gloria Reuben).
