Season 4 - Season 11, episode 3

Season 4
An English Surgeon. There is initial conflict and competition with Benton but Benton and Corday are in some ways very similar and soon start getting along.

At one point Dr's Benton and Corday go out to play darts together, Corday wins a darts bet (even with her back turned), which results in Benton getting drunk. There is obviously something going on between them, just watch how Benton squirms when together they bump into Benton's sister Jackie.

Corday is an ambitious and brilliant surgeon, although there is continual trouble between Corday and Romano, who is sponsoring her stay in the US.

Benton and Corday eventually get it together, the episode ends with them kissing after they have both had particularly bad days.

Corday's future in Chicago is put in jeopardy when Romano leaves a note saying that he will not be renewing her sponsorship. Benton is less than sympathetic to her situation.

Season 5

Corday's sponsorship runs out but she wants to stay in the USA and decides to take a step backwards by repeating a year as an Intern so she can become registered in the USA.

The long hours and stress of the job cause Corday to make a mistake injecting ten time the required amount of Magnesium into a patient causing a Cardiac Arrest. The patient survives but Corday has to face and inquiry. At the inquiry Corday blames the system for the mistake comparing her hours to those of other jobs where peoples lives are at risk.

Elizabeth and Mark Greene start dating.

Season 6

Mark and Elizabeth are still dating.  She is promoted to Associated Chief of Surgery.

Elizabeth's mother, Isabelle Corday, comes to town for lectures in Episode 125 "Abby Road".  She is asked to stay with Elizabeth and she accepts.

Episode 127 "All in The Family" - Romano and Corday spend most of the episode in the OR trying to save Lucy's life after she is stabbed by a schizophrenic patient.  Lucy dies.

In Episode 128 "Be Patient", we learn that Isabelle and David Greene have been intimate with each other.  This disturbs Elizabeth, but Mark finds it to be funny.

Season 7

Mark asks her to marry him.  She gets involved in her first malpractice suit with a man that she paralyzed.

Elizabeth and Mark go to New York over the holidays to see a doctor about operating on Mark's brain tumor.

After a day of unexpected problems, Mark and Elizabeth finally get married in "April Showers".  After a long, agonizing deliver, baby Ella is born!

Season 8

Elizabeth is having a hard time being a mom and a full time doctor.  She loses four patients to post-operation infections and is investigated for criminal activity.  She and Rachel are not hitting it off.

The Greene's fight to save their baby's life after she gets in to some Ecstasy from Rachel's backpack.  This causes a bigger issue with Rachel living with them, so Elizabeth and Ella move out and stay in a hotel.  Elizabeth eventually learns of Mark's tumor re-growth and returns home to tend to him.  She is at the beach with him when he passes away.

Season 9

Elizabeth is getting on with her life without Mark, but it is hard for her to do.  Working in the ER reminds her a lot of him.

Season 10

Elizabeth is finally getting on with her life without Mark.  She even finds a love interest, even though she later finds out that he is married.

Season 11

Elizabeth performs a transplant procedure from one HIV patient that died to another one who needed the organ.  This was against the law, so she was assigned to another hospital position as a teacher, so she decided to leave and move back to England.
