Dale is the same year as Carter. Carter and Dale do not get
along. There is too much competition between the two of
them. Dale is (as Romano put it) a weasel. Dale went to
school with Harper and they slept with each other
one time, which bothers Carter. Dale becomes a surgeon.
Season 4
Carter picks up a Phaeochromocytoma in the ER who is rushed to surgery, Dale performs the operation. Carter later hears the patients family thanking Dale and is annoyed.
Season 5
Corday's boss at one point, even though she is more experienced than he
is, he expects her to do all the
work.
