When you are creating a custom site you can turn to software to edit the layout. The layout of any site helps immensely in exploring all the contents, and taking your customers where you want them on the site.Neat structures remove the code lines between the search engines’ detectors of search engines and key content. This could very well be the difference between the first and second position in page ranking.

The structure of the site dictates hot your site is read by search engines’ detectors, what pieces of information they are picking up , which content is more valuable than the other, and the requirements and preferences d what codes need to be cut out . The demands and preferences of the visitors and the search engines’ detectors should be kept in mind.

The code of the website should be designed in a way that facilitates the search engines’ detectors to pick up the content. It should not confuse them and hence make them leave the websites content all together. Dreamweaver is a good option for developing a website. This is only next to coding manually, which though time consuming and tedious, is still the best way to make a website. The main objective is to make the cleanest code possible.  The denser your code will be, the more effort will be required by the search engines’ detectors to get through to your content.

If you want to be able to trim your code, use STYLE SHEETS. THE STYLE SHEETS have a wide range of options. Of the many uses of style sheets the best and most effective is the ability to cut the code on any given page.The structure of the site should be laid keeping in mind the convenience of the search engines’ detectors of search engines. They should be able to access all information and that too easily and quickly.

I have provided the structure outline that the search engines’ detectors read a website code from top to bottom and from left to right. They follow the Vertical sections (columns). The trick to the table structure that I have mentioned is the empty horizontal sections (rows).  Set an empty clean cell in main table’s first horizontal section (horizontalsections (rows) directs the search engines’ detectors straight to the content. They would other keep hitting the pictures and AltTags. They hit the empty horizontal sections (rows) and when there is nothing to read they go to the column on the right. After the content has been read they will move back to the left in horizontal sections (rows) 2 and read the navigation pictures and AltTags. They will finally reach the end of the page, i.e. the footer which is a great location for keywords rich text links.

With the site structure out of the way and the content in place, you can move to the basic optimizing of the site.
